Portland 10

The annual 10 mile Club race - The Portland 10 - takes place in July. This race was first run in 1980, so pre-dates the formation of RMPAC. For many years this was the only open race organised by RMPAC. However, as club membership has grown, other races have emerged.

Round the Rock 10k

RMPAC was asked by the SW Vets AC to host their 10k Championship on Portland in 2007. This race route was used as the basis for the RMPAC Silver Jubilee 10K which was held in May 2008. This race was so successful that it was decided to repeat it - it is now called the Round The Rock 10k.

Dumble Bimble

The Dumble Bimble 2 and 5-mile charity fun runs were organised and named in memory of Club members Alan and Andrew Dumble - these take place in September. Originally the Dumble Bimble attracted only a few runners, but over time it has increased in popularity with over 190 runners in total for the two events in September 2008.

British Masters Athletics Federation 10 Mile Road Race Championships

This year RMPAC has agreed to host the British Masters Athletics Federation 10 Mile Road Race Championships in October. This will be held on the same course as the Portland 10, using the Royal Manor Arts College as the base.
